LASA is a municipality authority organized and existing under the Municipality Authorities Act of 1945, as supplemented and amended (hereinafter called the "Authorities Act"). The Authorities Act authorizes governmental units to create authorities to own, finance, and operate many different kinds of facilities. LASA is a special purpose authority which was created by its seven member municipalities as a joint operation authority to provide sewer service. |
